Dungeon Place: The Importance of Protocol

    I would agree with your statement that as a community, we've let protocol slide... but is that necessarily a bad thing? While it works for some relationships to be somewhat "protocol-based", there are a lot of us that just don't care so much about the formality of kink, and would rather fast forward to the good stuff.

    Protocol is a form of service. For some service is a good part of their
    kink.

    Another consideration? Protocol can be a form of seduction. A damn fine form
    of seduction!

    Therefore, I wouldn't discount the importance at all.

    Although I agree with you in the heart of your argument. Sometimes? You just
    want to get straight to the fun.
